Giraffe Book is part of my Creator's Alphabet Series, for "children" of all ages. In these stories, we find out how creativity, imagination, and occasional unpredictable moments "help" to shape each animal in creation.
Where the idea began
The idea for Giraffe Book came while musing on this graceful yet strangely designed creature. I pondered the elongated neck and thought of Creator's humor. How silly we can often be in our seriousness, while perhaps we are all designed with the same whimsy that Creator has.
Life is not always neat and tidy. Sometimes things "stretch and pull, push and blow", like the animated book series. Through the pages you will be captivated by the changes and funny, unexpected events. Our Creator knows how all things will play out and show patience and gentleness in all things made.
Silly and unpredictable moments.
In Giraffe Book, it isn't a straight, careful plan that shapes this animal. it's the little mishaps and surprises that stretches and pull, the sudden gusts and bumps that seem to "help" form the giraffe we know.
What looks like chaos on the page becomes a playful picture of how something tall, gentle, and unique can grow out of moments that don't feel neat or expected at all.
Just a Thought:
Where in your own life do things feel stretched, awkward, or a bit out of place? How might those very moments be shaping something beautifully unique in you?
